SPA MANAGER
Rocco Forte Hotels is looking for talented individuals for the upcoming opening in Liscia di Vacca, Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Located in one of the most stunning coastal areas of Sardinia, the new resort, opening in 2026, will offer an exceptional hospitality experience. The property will feature a state-of-the-art spa, dedicated meeting and events spaces, three restaurants highlighting fresh, local ingredients, and a rooftop bar with breath-taking views of the Sardinian coastline. Designed to combine luxury, comfort, and the beauty of the surrounding landscape, the resort will provide a unique environment where guests can enjoy both relaxation and engaging experiences. The new property is set to become a new landmark of refined hospitality on the Sardinian coast.
Main purpose:
The Spa Manager directs and supervises all aspects of wellness, supports the team day-to-day and ensures the flawless running of service in all areas of spa and fitness. Ensures that departmental goals and targets are achieved and creates an environment where Team Members are motivated and encouraged to exceed guest expectations.
Reports to: General Manager.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Manages the Spa Department, according the to the Company policies, standard and procedures, maintaining its high reputation;
Responsible for ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of Guests. Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with our standard of service;
Leads by example and assists developing highly motivated, pro-active Team Members with the highest ethical standards in order to deliver a quality oriented service to our Guests;
Sets clear goals for the Spa Team and provides support to ensure these are achieved;
Plays an active role in the forward planning for the department, with a key emphasis on both long term strategy for the department and short term operational requirements;
Undertakes and checks departmental briefings and handovers of shifts, making sure that communication is flawless;
Ensures effective cooperation within the department, as well as with other departments.
Ensures that regular on-the-job training is delivered and Team Members understand what is expected of them;
Assures that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are planned and implemented, in partnership with the L&D Manager;
Responsible for selection and development of the Spa Team, monitoring performance and providing feedback;
In conjunction with the Hotel Manager, prepares and implements budgets and analyses sales figures, ensuring all relevant information is discussed and passed on to Team Members;
Ensures all forecasts and timesheets are submitted in a timely manner to the relevant department;
Keeps abreast of the newest trends and innovations in the wellness industry. Has a strong knowledge of the local hotel and spa market to ensure competitiveness and development of the department service as a leader in its field;
Creates ongoing in-house promotions and activities to stimulate sales;
Maintains a strong menu of services with both exceptional artistic and aesthetic value.

Other requirements:
Fluent in Italian and English;
Professional experience as Spa Manager; international experience preferred;
Preferable evidence of self-development through specialized courses, conferences/workshops;
Knowledge of Health & Safety provisions at international and national level;
PC literate.
