Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Lead an outstanding department by setting high standards, providing guidance and development in order to achieve consistently high levels of service;
• Create and seek opportunities to learn and to develop others to drive performance of the department and the hotel;
• Ensure that housekeeping requests by Guests are responded to in a timely and efficient manner and where possible anticipate Guest’s needs;
• Guarantee daily inspection of Guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas to maintain and reach our service standard;
• Help in maintaining all department inventories and cleaning schedules;
• Support the Executive Housekeeper to maintain the décor of staff house, lockers and back of the house;
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the housekeeping staff appraisal, training and development;
• Comply with the financial objectives of the department.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about celebrating the individuality of our hotels and guests. We are looking for team members who bring:

• High personal and professional standards
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues, guests and management team
• Thorough practical knowledge of the department, individual roles and responsibilities
• Confidence to lead, encourage, motivate and manage the department to exceed expectations
• Fluent in Italian
• English knowledge (intermediate level)
• PC literate
• Previous professional experience in the same role is preferred
• High School certificate.
