Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Manage an outstanding team, ensuring excellent cooperating across departments whilst leading by example;
• Manage and support team members to ensure that five-star service standards are maintained at all times;
• Manage performance including delivering orientations and trainings to ensure overall quality and skills building;
• Support the Bar Manager in accomplishing human resources objectives by scheduling staff rotas, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees;
• Monitor stock levels and align to the department financial objectives;
• Take ownership of decisions and actions;
• Support the Bar Manager in achieving the department financial objectives working closely with management and overall team;
• Comply with H&S national rules.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about celebrating the individuality of our hotels and guests. We are looking for team members who bring:

• High personal and professional standards
• Strong instincts when it comes to fulfilling the needs of guests
• Confidence and good nature in leading your team in a high-pressured environment
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests
• Fluent proficiency in Italian and English. A third language is preferred
• Sound professional experience in a similar role in luxury hotels and/or bars at international level
• Certificate as Professional Barman
• Certificate as Sommelier is preferred
• Evidence of self-development through specialized courses, conferences/workshops
• Ability to use software for management of F&B – Familiar with Microsoft Office package
