Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Oversee the bar team's workflow, ensuring good cooperating across departments;
• Support team members to ensure that five-star service standards are maintained at all times;
• Manage the stock, serving guests, placing stock orders and ensuring product quality;
• Deliver discreet, understated, tailored and timely service whilst sharing your knowledge and best practice with the team;
• Anticipate Guests needs and handle guest complaints;
• Remain focused on delivering excellence and seeking feedback from guests;
• Be knowledgeable of the hotel and our products and actively seek opportunities to promote them;
• Comply with H&S national rules;
• Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with the highest standard of service.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about celebrating the individuality of our hotels and guests. We are looking for team members who bring:

• High personal and professional standards;
• Certificate as Professional Barman;
• Certificate as Sommelier is preferred;
• Strong instincts for understanding and fulfilling the needs of guests;
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests;
• Fluent proficiency in Italian and English. French as third language is preferred;
• Sound professional experience in a similar role in luxury hotels and/or bars at international level;
• Confidence and good nature in leading your team in a high-pressured environment;
• Enthusiasm for learning and personal growth with evidence through specialized courses, conferences/workshops;
• Ability to use software for management of F&B – Familiar with Microsoft Office package.
